A good start to 2016/17…
We had a good turn out for Brooklyn in September with lots of members signing up and visitors too. To those who joined your membership cards will be ready and waiting for you at the start of the next film “Wild Tales”.
Joining and payment options
The full membership fee is £30, which then gives you free admittance to all the season’s films.
Payment can be made using the following methods:
- on the night (using one of our membership forms from the membership page)
- using the same form but posting it along with your cheque
- by PayPal (click the Add to Cart button and go through to PayPal)
First time visitors:
We screen films to members and visitors on the first Thursday of the month from September to June at The Space – which is the new building above the library. Doors open at 7.15 for a 7.45 start. We can get quite busy and (so far) seats are on a first come first served basis, there’s no booking in advance it’s simply pay on the door (£5). There will be no bar going forward for 2016 as they weren’t making enough money to cover their costs… however we have a few ideas and will make some drinks available – you’re welcome to bring some with you but please remember there’s no glass allowed in the screening and if you could take home your rubbish it would be appreciated.
We’ve not had to turn people away yet but we’ve been very close and the numbers are rising so getting in early isn’t a bad idea.
