The true story of John Davidson and his life with tourettes. A fantastic film that educates as well as entertains. The story follows John as he begins secondary school and starts to exhibit signs of tourette’s, a syndrome very few were aware of and even fewer able to help. We follow his life through teenage years and finding a place in a society that has little or no understanding, little or no space for anyone that doesn’t fit in. His response is to educate the public and engage with other sufferers, ultimately building a life around and very much a part of the syndrome he lives with. It’s an emotional, funny and engaging film – but be warned – it does have a lot of swearing!
